Connect a Google Sheet
Track your portfolio from a spreadsheet — no copying data into the app. Vanja reads your sheet; it never writes to it.
Add a header row with these exact column names (first row):
date, ticker, shares, price (optional: notes)
One row per trade.
shares — positive to buy, negative to sell (e.g. 10 or -5)
price — price per share (e.g. 182.50); currency symbols and commas are OK
date — most common formats work: 15-Jan-2021, 2021-01-15, or 01/15/2021
Share it view-only. In Google Sheets: Share → General access → Anyone with the link → Viewer. Then copy the link from your browser's address bar.
Paste the link into the Google Sheet box and hit Sync.
Why view-only? Vanja only needs to read your sheet, and "Anyone with the link → Viewer" lets it load the data without you granting any account access. Your data stays in your spreadsheet.
